Tyson Fury and Don McLean just recorded an epic remake of the hit anthem, "American Pie."
Ahead of Fury's fight against Dillian Whyte on April 23, the boxer collaborated with McLean to record the newest rendition of the iconic song.
On BT Sport Boxing's official YouTube channel, the duo can be seen unleashing their singing skills to deliver the perfect version of "American Pie" this year. The video shows McLean singing the verses of the song while playing Fury's montage clips taken from his fights throughout his active years.
Fury then joins McLean and sings along to the track. It was not the first time he sang the song, though.
In 2019, the Gypsy King serenaded the crowd during a post-match press conference following his draw with Deontay Wilder. He did it again when he finally defeated Wilder in a rematch at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas a year later.
At that time, McLean praised Fury and told a news outlet that the boxer did really well in singing the anthem.
"I would say he's the number one bar room singer. Excellent job! The thing that knocked me out was that everybody, all the old folks, young folks, everybody knew all the words," the rocker admitted. "Kind of a thrill for me to see that!" he said.
Tyson Fury Reaches Peak of Career Because of Dillian Whyte?
Before their match, Whyte claimed that he helped Fury to be where he is right now.
As reported by Boxing Scene, the Jamaican-born boxer said that he and the other heavyweights made the Gypsy King a heavyweight champion.
"He's a very smart, intelligent man. He knew to build Tyson up to that level he needed good strong guys, resilient guys, tough guys, who didn't care where they was, to push him. I was one of those guys, Eddie Chambers was one of those guys that they brought in to help him," he said.
Both Whyte and Fury claimed that they faced each other in sparring. They reportedly spent most of their time in Manchester and Belgium before attending training camps in other places.
Although they are rivals on the ring, Whyte assured that he is cool with Tyson and that he never had a beef with him.
As of press time, Fury has a score of 31-0-1, 22 KOs, while Whyte has 28-2, 19 KOs.
