"Making The Band" alumnus Chopper was recently arrested over sex trafficking charges in Maryland earlier this month.
Chopper Arrested in Maryland For Sex Trafficking Charges
As per The Sun, Chopper was accused of being a "pimp" and making money out of prostitution in Las Vegas.
Born Kevin Barnes, Chopper was already booked and extradited back to Sin City to face the charges filed against him.
Per TMZ's legal documents, an undercover detective in Nevada was deployed who disguised as a sex worker received a direct message from the reality star on Instagram.
In return, the 37-year-old offered the undercover agent to make money by being a prostitute.
Aside from that, the agent has also scoured through Chopper's Instagram account and found suggestive posts that point out prostitution and "pimping."
These include posts where Chopper was seen flaunting his wealth after referencing how to be a "pimp."
After detectives gathered enough social media evidence, they launched a full-blown investigation of a potential sex trafficking operation.
Unknown to him, Chopper even called the undercover agent and bragged about how he had seven homes across the United States. He even double-downed and told the agent that Las Vegas was not a good place to do "business" as law enforcement is at a crackdown.
The rapper then instructed the agent to meet him in Charlotte, North Carolina, and even extorted $2,000 for a fee.
The agent then decided to make the arrest with a felony for sex trafficking. However, Chopper's camp has not yet issued any comments on the matter.
'Making The Band' Chopper Net Worth 2022
With the illegal activities involved, Chopper's real net worth cannot be easily determined - especially with the under-the-table transactions at hand.
However, according to Famous Net Worth, the former MTV star's net worth is only $400,000.
The assets he acquired most likely came from the money he got from the show and from the few musics he has created and produced.
After "Making the Band" ran for three seasons on the air, the show wrapped up, and Chopper signed as a solo artist on the Bad Boy South label.
Afterwards, he released "Lil Daddy," his hit single, before touring with Chris Brown and Trey Songz.
This was not also the first time that Chopper had run in with the law, as he had faced prison for robbery charges and violent altercations with illegal weapons.
