Harry Styles has officially revealed the significance of his next album, "Harry's House," which will be released in May 2022.
The "Watermelon Sugar" hitmaker recounted how it all started during the COVID-19 shutdown in March 2020 in an interview with Better Homes and Gardens.
When the pandemic broke out, his live performance "Love On Tour" was canceled.
Styles imagined himself as someone who was always busy and on the go, traits he picked up from his days in One Direction. He imagined himself as someone who was always busy and on the go, playing sold-out shows every night and singing at the top of his lungs as his pearls and sequins glittered in the light.
"All of a sudden, the screaming stopped," the 28-year-old British actor explained.
He'd been in Los Angeles for months with nothing to do - a first for him since leaving his mother's house in Cheshire, England.
During the lockdown, Harry Styles admitted that productivity had been pounded into him, and he felt compelled to work. However, he knew that the epidemic was plainly out of his hands.
He sat it out and apparently did nothing for six weeks - "I didn't create any songs and I didn't record any. He'd become just another man in a house-share attempting to bother his housemates "the publication stated.
Styles, on the other hand, utilized the lockup to grow as a person, forcing himself to address issues he hadn't spoken in previous discussions.
Then the "Adore You" crooner thought about the idea of "home-about belonging, peace, sanctuary."
Styles told the outlet, "I realized that that home feeling isn't something you get from a house; it's more of an internal thing. You realize that when you stop for a minute."
The publication, which listened to the full "Harry's House" album in advance and secrecy in a Sony London office, claimed the record's themes are "belonging, tranquility, and discovering domestic joy."
When Harry Styles began recording for his new album, he allegedly didn't listen to anything except classic music because he needed to "clear" himself and start with a "blank canvas."
It was his attempt to make a new beginning with whatever was going on in his life.
The former X Factor star explained, "I think everyone went through a big moment of self-reflection, a lot of navel-gazing, and I don't know if there's anything more navel-gazing than making an album. It's so self-absorbed."
