Fresh from a recent violent encounter a few days ago, DaBaby does not shy away from controversy as yet another footage of him resurfaces on social media.

DaBaby New Shooting Footage Meant That He Was Telling The Truth

Coming off from punching his own artist Wisdom in the backstage of an unidentified arena recently, the infamous DaBaby is yet again trending as his video of shooting in a Walmart took social media like a storm.

In the one-minute CCTV recording that Rolling Stone obtained, the footage shows that Jonathan "DaBaby" Kirk shot Jaylin Craig in 2018 at a Charlotte, North Carolina, Walmart store. On the latter part of the video, the "Levitating" rapper pulls out a handgun and shoots Craig.

However, as Billboard reported, DaBaby's legal team argues that the now-viral unseen footage solidifies the rapper's claim that he acted out in self-defense.

Independently, DaBaby's legal team told TMZ that the prosecutors had already reviewed the security footage in 2018, which the court eventually used as evidence to conclude that the rapper acted out in self-defense.

Unbeknownst to many, the case was closed in 2019 and avoided prosecution for Craig's death. However, he was sentenced to 12 months probation for carrying a concealed weapon and a suspended jail sentence.

TMZ also says that a Mecklenburg County judge also reviewed the footage for the misdemeanor charge of the rapper not having a proper permit for his weapon.

Last Monday, DaBaby replied to Hot97 and Beats 1 host Ebro Darden asking why people are acting like they think Walmart has not seen the video retrieved in 2018.

The rapper, caught in the height of the drama, replied, "Cuz the media got they a- brainwashed."

This is not the first time DaBaby's name hit the headlines in the past few days.

DaBaby Hit Own Artist Wisdom On Backstage Viral Video

Recently, another video of DaBaby resurfaced online where he is seen involved in a violent punch-off with his own signed artist Wisdom backstage.

Although up until now, the reason for the meltdown is foggy - the uploader of the video suggested a somehow plausible explanation for DaBaby to attack Wisdom.

"Somebody in the baby camp did something that could have cost him his show, money, and possibly a lawsuit," the uploader said in a now-deleted Instagram post. (via NME)
