Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy Osbourne's wife, has provided an update on the Black Sabbath frontman's health.
The rock legend's path to recovery has been challenging in recent years, as he has suffered from a number of health challenges after publicly disclosing his Parkinson's disease diagnosis.
Furthermore, things have become worse in terms of his rising health issues, which have seen him suffer from a terrible case of the flu during the previous few years, as well as a life-threatening staph infection and even a tragic fall in his Los Angeles home while he recovered from pneumonia.
But all seemed to be well for Ozzy, as former "The Talk" presenter Sharon reassured his followers that he will undergo one more operation before embarking on any further plans to return to the UK.
In an interview (per the Mirror), the 69-year-old redhead from the United Kingdom told his pal Piers Morgan, "He's doing OK. He offers his love to you."
She also revealed the final barrier her husband would face, stating, "He's got one more procedure left to complete, and then he's itching to come back home," referring to their relocation from Los Angeles to the United Kingdom.
While news of the rock legend's Parkinson's disease diagnosis made headlines in 2020, Ozzy Osbourne earlier stated that he was originally diagnosed with it in 2003, according to the Mirror.
However, his most recent bout of health troubles began in October 2018 when he underwent surgery after contracting a potentially fatal staph infection as a result of a manicure that caused his thumb to swell to the size of a light bulb.
According to the Rolling Stone, he also suffered three distinct staph infections that began in his thumb and progressed to his middle finger.
A few months later, in February 2019, Ozzy was hospitalized with flu complications, which forced him to cancel the European leg of his tour. He was eventually forced to cancel it, as well as the remainder of the tour dates for the year, because he was also suffering from pneumonia and severe injuries from a fall.
Meanwhile, during an appearance with his good buddy Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne grew emotional while discussing how her dog died as a result of her openly supporting him and his statements about Meghan Markle last year.
"I never imagined in my wildest fantasies that my career after 50 years would have ended that way," she informed him.
"They intended to murder my pets. Then they started on Ozzy, and I thought to myself, this is insane."
