It's Travis Scott's birthday today! The rapper has been through a lot of controversies over the past few months due to the Astroworld tragedy, but it seems like it won't stop him from releasing new music as he collaborated with two of the most prominent artists in the hip-hop industry.

The rapper was facing numerous lawsuits due to the aftermath of his concert a few months ago, but it didn't keep him from being a present father to his two children and lover, Kylie Jenner.

Travis Scott Age, Early Life, Biography

Born Jacques Bermon Webster II on April 30, 1991, he's 31 years old today! The musician spent his early days in Houston, Texas. He lived with his grandmother until he was six years old.

Growing up in a neighborhood full of crimes and wrongdoings, the happenings within his surroundings made a significant impact on him.

In an interview with Complex, the rapper said he saw "random crazy s***," hungry, weird, Grimey people, and more.

"I was always like, 'I gotta get the f*** out this s***.' It gave me my edge-[it made me] who I am right now," he said.

He later moved to Missouri, where the area was more peaceful.

His music career began in 2008 after forming a duo with his longtime friend Chris Holloway. Their group was called "The Graduates."

They released an untitled EP on Myspace that year.

The rapper released a song titled "Hold That Heat" in collaboration with Future and producer Southside.

Hip Hop DX reported that Scott did a lot of "heavy lifting" on the track as he sang all the chorus parts and had a rap verse in the intro.
