In a recent interview, Bass shared how unprepared he is about being a father and at the same time, at how rapidly his children are growing.

While catching up on PEOPLE, the 42-year-old former *NSYNC member tells special correspondent Adrianna Costa that he can't get enough of becoming a father to 5-month-old twins Alexander James and Violet Betty.

"I'm just so obsessed with them," he says. "Every friend's like, 'Look, enjoy every second because it'll fly by like no other and you'll miss this stage.' I'm already getting teary-eyed because they're already 5 months and I can see that it's just flying by right now."

The former boyband member says adjusting to parenting has been "quite an adventure," and he is grateful for the time he has spent with his children while unable to work due to the pandemic.

He shared that those first few months have been quite remarkable. since he did not have to worry about anything else interfering with his time with kids. But now that everything is returning to normal-ish, he's striving to make sure that he can still spend some time with his kids while he's working.

When you have kids, your perspective completely changes. It was all about you and now it's all about someone else," he adds.

Bass shares these cute children with husband Michael Turchin.

Bass and Turchin, who married in 2014, welcomed Alexander and Violet last October via surrogate.
