Karol G is thriving on her own, but many fans are still hoping that she will collaborate with many artists in the future. Over the past year, the singer has teamed up with renowned singers like Nicki Minaj and Becky G, but there was one group in particular that she failed to feature in one of her songs.

Speaking to MTV about her songs and artists on her playlist, she was asked to name a track she wanted to collaborate with; she answered "How You Like That" by BLACKPINK.

The "Bichota" songstress then revealed she almost teamed up with the KPop group for a remix of her song "Tusa" with Nicki Minaj.

"When I launched 'Tusa' with Nicki Minaj, in my mind I had a remix that we never tried. If I would've done a remix, I would've done it with BLACKPINK," she said. (via Billboard)

However, her original plans didn't work out because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but she revealed they spoke to each other.

"that would've been like, the remix of the life," she added.

Although the remix never happened, the 31-year-old Latina can still collaborate with the group or one of its members in the future. She revealed in the interview that she also wanted to work with Lisa.

Elsewhere in the interview, Karol G was asked for the song she has on repeat at the moment; her answer was Harry Style's "As It Was," a track from the former One Direction member's upcoming album "Harry's House."

Her upcoming tour is the follow-up to her successful 2021 Bichota tour, which grossed $10.9 million and sold a whopping 128,000 tickets.
