Little Mix have assured their fans that their current hiatus does not signal the demise of the female group.
The chart-topping band - comprised of Jade Thirlwall, 29, Perrie Edwards, 28, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, 30 - are currently on their final tour before an extended break, and the girls have insisted that while they have plans to launch their solo careers, they are already planning the next Little Mix reunion.
The girls, who became a trio after Jesy Nelson, 30, left the band in December 2020, may be doing their own thing over the next several years, but they have sworn to properly synchronize their schedules so there is no possibility of them competing in the charts.
Perrie told The Sun, "We've all said we will let each other know when we're going to release so we don't end up clashing in the charts. We're rooting for each other, not competing against each other."
Jade, who has signed a contract with Sony's RCA Records and joined the management team of Harry Styles, stated "It's just not going to happen. There will be a conscious effort from all of us to make sure of that."
Leigh-Anne stated that they are so close to each other so even in a hiatus, they will be in a constant communication. Perrie then stated that in all honesty, the hiatus has not kicked off yet, but they are already thinking about their reunion. It was here when she dropped the bombshell that the hiatus can last for at least two years.
We're like: 'is two years away enough? Two and a bit years?," she said.
Jade concurred that although the change is essential, they have such a deep bond and have every intention of continuing to work together in the future.
She said no one can dispute their relationship - whenever somebody watches the program or sees them in interviews or on social media, it's very clear that we can't live without each other. At least them 3, Jesy Nelson not included.
"We know how phenomenal we are together, so why would we never want to do that again? Change has to happen in life, you have to move on at some point and try new things, but it's such a comfort to know we have each other to come back to," she added.
Jade said that the hiatus can last for an unknown time, but a reunion is clear. She said is looking forward to the day already.
The 'Woman Like Me' hitmakers will disband following their farewell show on May 14 at London's The O2 venue, which will be broadcast live across the world.
