Cardi B is straightforward when sharing her thoughts on the internet. Recently, she called out online users who alleged that Billie Eilish had an issue with her during this year's Met Gala. The big question is, are her online issues pushing her to quit music?
Taking to Twitter, the rapper shared a screencap video of her and Billie's direct message on Instagram, where the latter sent a voice message to address the drama.
Cardi said she hates the internet because many have turned one of the most amazing parties into a drama frenzy.
"Billie is my f***** baby.Yesterday, from the met to the party, everything was drama free. Why do y'all wanna turn everything into mess?" she concluded.
More recently, a reporter interviewed her on the streets, asking if the drama would hinder her from releasing new content in the future.
"I was talking about the internet. Girl, I would never leave music, that's my bread and butter. Who gonna stop eating bread and butter?" she said.
Elsewhere in the interview, she was asked about a piece of specific advice she could give Rihanna as the Barbadian singer is currently pregnant with A$AP Rocky's child, and Cardi has two children already.
The rapper said motherhood "comes so naturally." Even though there could be countless pieces of advice, once the baby is born, "that mother instinct comes out."
Cardi B's latest interview about her social media activity comes more than a month after she deleted her Instagram and Twitter accounts.
The reason behind her big move was her feud with fans. The rapper argued with online users who felt wronged after announcing that she won't attend this year's Grammy Awards in Las Vegas.
Before ultimately leaving the platform, Cardi posted, "I'm deleting my twitter but On God I hate this f***** dumbass fan base."
According to Complex, the "Rumors" hitmaker didn't show up at the coveted awards show because she only had one nomination, and it didn't win.
"I don't like that s***. And then it's like, 'Oh but you was giving out hints...' What in my Insta story gave you hints that I was gonna go into the Grammys?" Cardi said during her Instagram live.
The rapper is back on the two social media platforms again as of this writing.
