In a new interview published on Monday, Joe Alwyn, Taylor Swift's boyfriend, said that their collaboration on songs was "accidental." It's cool though that he revealed that he actually helped not just with one, but five songs!
The Conversations With Friends actor, 31, explained that the duo did not want to form a musical partnership. There was no intention to do that at all, despite being together.
However, Joe, who has been dating Taylor for four years, co-wrote two songs on her Folklore album and three on her subsequent Evermore album.
Speaking with GQ Hype magazine, he stated, "'It was really the most accidental thing to happen in lockdown." He explained, "It wasn't like, "It's three o'clock, it's time to write a song!" It was just messing around on a piano and singing badly and being overheard and then thinking, you know, 'what if we tried to get to the end of it together?'"
Joe stood vigorously for the magazine while wearing a cream-colored suit and staring into the camera.
He added that he did not even want this fact known because he did not want people to focus on the fact that they wrote it together as opposed to focusing on the music in itself.
And despite the fact that fans adored the songs and Joe enjoyed the creative process, he stated that he has no plans to collaborate with his girlfriend again.

Joe is a busy man himself though.
Joe has also achieved success as an actor, starring in the adaptation of Sally Rooney's best-selling novel Conversations With Friends.
The series follows a strange married couple, Nick and Melissa (Jemima Kirke), and their fascination to Frances and Bobbi.
Frances has an affair with Nick while attempting to reconcile her affections for her best friend and ex-girlfriend Bobbi, portrayed by 25-year-old Kenyan actress Sasha Lane.
Due to the secretive nature of their relationship, it is uncertain when Joe and Taylor originally began dating.
They spent time together in 2016, but relationship rumors arose in 2017. In June of that year, they were photographed in Nashville.
Just like the fact that they worked on these five songs together, they have opted to keep their relationship hidden.
After taking a three-day vacation in Cornwall earlier this year, Taylor and Joe prompted rumors that an engagement was coming.
The pair divides their time between the United States and London, between a £7 million apartment in Primrose Hill and her "primary property" in Nashville.
