A few months after signing with Adam Leber's Rebel Management, The Kid Laroi is changing teams again; what was the reason for the sudden change?

A close source revealed the news to Billboard, saying the founder and CEO of the management is in favor of the Australian star, but there was a conflict with the internal team.

Laroi signed with the company a few months back after leaving Scooter Braun's SB Projects; he only lasted with his previous management for three months.

Prior to that, he was managed by Grade A Projects.

The recent switch-up comes a few days after the "Stay" hitmaker took the opportunity to crack jokes about Braun while teasing his single "Thousand Miles" online.

The video featured a text that reads, "show me your last mistake. use this sound."

Laroi then added several photos of Braun.

It appears that there is no beef between the two as the controversial manager revealed that it was all a joke and a marketing strategy as he was in on the punchline.

In the singer's cover story with the outlet, another insider revealed Braun promised that he would be directly involved with the "Without You" singer, but there's not enough participation.

The Kid Laroi, Not the Only Singer Who Switched Managements in Recent Months

The Kid Laroi is now added to the list of celebrities who have made a similar move over the past few months.

Variety reported that Dua Lipa had left Ben Mawson and Ed Millett of TaP Management. The company also handles prominent artists like Caroline Polacheck, Ellie Goulding, and Lana Del Rey.

As of this writing, it's still unclear where she'll be transferred, but her father, Dukagjin Lipa, is said to be "very much in the mix."

Despite rising to fame only last year, Olivia Rodrigo has already dropped Kristen Smith of Camp Far West. She handled the singer during her teenage years.

The "Driver's License" songstress is now a part of Lighthouse Management + Media's Aleen Keshishian and Zack Morgenroth.

Lastly, Miley Cyrus also left Adam Leber's Rebel Management after being handled over the past decade.

During her stay with the management, she achieved a number one album titled "Bangerz." The company also connected her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, with Lil Nas X for the huge hit "Old Town Road."

The former Disney star is now with Bob McLynn at Crush Management.
