Great news for Sean "Diddy" Combs fans! The singer is finally returning to the music industry six years after releasing his "last album."

According to Page Six, the "I'll Be Missing You" hitmaker has signed an exclusive deal with Motown Records.

The agreement would require him to release one album only.

In addition, the deal includes a record label imprint called "Love Records." The outlet noted that the name was derived from Diddy's decision to change his name to "Love" in 2017.

In a press release, the singer said music has always been his first love, and his latest deal would be the "next chapter."

"It's about getting back to the love and making the best music of my life," he said.

Speaking about the label, Diddy noted that he would focus on creating timeless R&B music by breeding a new generation of artists and producers.

Motown CEO and chairwoman Ethiopia Habtemariam explained that the deal is a significant moment for their company as the singer is one of the most influential voices in music and culture.

"To be a part of his next evolution and album is nothing short of monumental," she added. (via Variety)

Despite having a new deal, the singer will continue to work for his Bad Boy Entertainment label.

Diddy has worked with some of the most iconic stars in the industry like the Notorious B.I.G., Mary J. Blige, Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Kanye West, Craig Mack, Faith Evans, and many more.

In total, he has collaborated with 112 artists and many others.

After launching the company in the company in the early 2000s, he focused on the entrepreneur side of the music industry rather than on creating music.

He reunited with his previous collaborators in 2016 for the "Bad Boy Reunion Tour" and a documentary in 2017.

Diddy's recent deal comes six years after announcing that his "No Way Out 2" record would be his last.

Speaking to Cigar Afficiando Magazine, the singer said he wanted to stop at a great place, and a final album is the perfect way to do it.

At the time, Diddy said he wanted to take a victory lap and embark on a world tour that he would enjoy for the last time.

After that, he will do different things and have different experiences.

In other updates about the star, Diddy will be the executive producer and host of the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday.
