Trevor Strnad, popularly known for being the vocalist and frontman of the famed melodic death metal band The Black Dahlia Murder, has passed away at the age of 41.
The band took to their official Instagram account to share the tragic news to fans, writing, "It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Trevor Scott Strnad."
The group noted that Trevor was a good person, and the people he met in the past loved him.
In addition, the vocalist was described as "a walking encyclopedia of all things music" as he is knowledgeable about tracks, lyrics, and more.
"He was a hugger, a writer, and truly one of the world's greatest entertainers. His lyrics provided the world with stories and spells and horror and whimsy. It was his life to be your show," the statement continues.
