Action Bronson is a rapper, chef, television personality, and actor, among other occupations. With regard to acting, he is quite serious about the roles he would take on. He would go to different auditions and even score some of them, but he would straightly reject offers that are not suited to his principles, ideals, or vision. He even rejected a big break on "Euphoria," something that other actors would not pass up on.

Bronson spoke with Complex at the release of his most recent album, Cocodrillo Turbo, about his acting prospects, one of which includes HBO's hit teen drama, Euphoria. Bronson auditioned for the program and was even offered a part, but he ultimately declined.

"They wanted me to play a drug dealer that was getting with the high school girls," Bronson said. "Action Bronson ain't doing that, bro."

The role in question closely resembles Fezco, who is portrayed by Angus Cloud.

In addition, Bronson disclosed that he auditioned for Uncut Gems, albeit he stated that he did not feel confident about his performance. He shared that he ultimately failed to secure the coveted role.

"They wanted me to be the guy next to the main goon, the Russian," Bronson said. "But I bombed at the audition, bro."

Bronson has acted in films such as The King of Staten Island and The Irishman, although he has never starred in a leading role. However, he is accustomed to the camera due to his F*ck, That's Delicious restaurant discovery show.

After more than a decade in the public glare, Bronson is undoubtedly a star, albeit not a typical hip-hop powerhouse. He has constructed his own mini-solar system in which he is the unquestioned gravitational center, encompassing music, vapes, apparel, and books on cooking (F*ck, That's Delicious), marijuana (Stoned Beyond Belief), and self-improvement (F*ck It, I'll Start Tomorrow).

"Fuck, That's Delicious," which originally aired on Viceland was so successful, not just because of what he was showing but because of his personal warmth and cultural openness on camera had critics positioning him as one of the few credible successors to Anthony Bourdain.
