Pharrell Launches 'The Pharrell Burger' At Tokyo Restaurant

It's been a few minutes since Pharrell has contributed to a hit song, so he's taking this time to briefly step away from music and try his hand at the culinary arts. At NIGO's 2-5 Café in Tokyo, a new burger has just been launched called The Pharrell Burger, which is a burger topped with melted cheese, chopped onions, a thick tomato slice, "chunky sauce" (whatever that may be), and mustard. The pictures of the Pharrell Burger are pretty astounding, and you can go check them out over at Rap Wave.

Sadly, this (probably) delicious burger is all the way over in Japan, so most of us chumps here in America won't be able to try it. As to why the "Happy" singer would choose to develop a cheeseburger in Japan, as opposed to his native United States, Consequence of Sound notes that Pharrell is a close friend of the owner of NIGO's. If that's the case, then I'd like to ask Pharrell to please become good friends with another restaurant owner in New York City or North Jersey, for my sake.

Rap Wave points out that Pharrell's love of cheeseburgers has been well documented. Back in 2009, he attempted to order a burger at a McDonald's in Paris, but when he was told that they were only serving breakfast at the moment, he tried to convince them to make him a Big Mac with a song and dance routine. It doesn't look like it worked, but the video of the incident is hilarious and definitely worth checking out:

Quite frankly, I have no idea how someone who loves Big Macs so much can dance like that.
