After receiving backlash for her provocative quip at the Met Gala afterparty, Cardi B was more circumspect during her most recent night out. Still, she could not help but asks the DJ to stop playing her archenemy Nicki Minaj's song and replace it with hers.

Page Six learned that when the DJ played a song by Cardi's rap rival Nicki Minaj, the "Love & Hip Hop: New York" alum "grabbed the mic" and told him to stop playing the song. He then played the hit "WAP" by her and Megan Thee Stallion.

Except for this little drama, the night started off really swell and smooth though, and ended on the same note.

Cardi B and her sister Hennessy Carolina waited in their car for an hour for Cardi's husband Offset to arrive at Richie Romero's Wonderland in New York City on Wednesday night.

According to Page Six, Offset arrived at the adult club with his team at 1:45 a.m.

When Cardi eventually entered the dance club, she jumped on the microphone and yelled, "Let's get dangerous! Are you ready to get dangerous? I want to hear blood," a source tells Page Six exclusively.

As Offset, 30, and Cardi, 29, performed before a crowded club, clubgoers began to pull out their cell phones. According to reports, the couple's entourage numbered up to 17.

The festivities were also attended by French Montana, Busta Rhymes, Trey Songz, and DJ Clue. DJ Reach spun tracks.

The Bronx rapper also declared, "We got the big cats in the building. Big Bronx in the building, ya heard? We got Offset in the building. We gonna turn up and have a good time!"

According to a source, the couple spent approximately $5,000 through the night.

Cardi and Offset reportedly picked up takeout from Sei Less and tipped $1,000 before heading to Wonderland, according to a second source.

Cardi seemed to have chosen her words more carefully following the wrath she received the night of the Met Gala. After strolling the red carpet in a gold Versace gown on May 2, Cardi stepped on the bar at the Top of the Standard and urged her party friends to "have a shot right now, everybody take a line."

The Grammy winner then clarified that it was merely a "joke," telling supporters through Instagram Live that she felt like the celebrity who is constantly "in the principal's office."

She felt like a prisoner, she also said.
