Another illness has led to cancelled dates for another band this week. Rascal Flatts announced on its website that the country group would need to scratch three performances due to the health of vocalist of Gary LeVox.
"It is incredibly difficult to make the decision to cancel shows and disappoint our loyal fans who have been so good to us over the years," bassist Jay DeMarcus said. "The schedule of shows this past weekend, coupled with media days in New York City, have left him without a voice. We promise to return as soon as we can and give our fans the best show possible!"
The three shows cancelled were the band's gigs at the Idaho Center Amphitheater in Nampa, Northern Quest Casino and Resort in Airway Heights, WA and the show at Rocking River Music Festival in Mission, British Columbia.
The band suggested fans should contact the respective venues about potential reimbursement, so it doesn't seem that Rascal Flatts will be able to swing back and make up the missed shows.
Yesterday Paramore was also forced to cancel a second date due to the illness of its own lead singer, Hayley Williams. The vocalist was suffering from a chest infection, which forced the band to sit out two dates of its Momentour with Fall Out Boy in Texas.
