Paris Jackson, 24 years old, is becoming increasingly candid about her late father, Michael Jackson, revealing new, never-before-heard details about the King of Pop.
The artist and model chatted with PopSugar about the lessons her renowned father taught her prior to his 2009 death.
In an interview published on Thursday, Paris remarked, "I was raised by a free-love, hippie-type dude, so we were taught that beauty comes from the inside - and to this day, I still believe that,"
The majority of her piercings and tattoos are meaningless, she said, but her years in the fashion and entertainment industries have taught her to value the beauty of cosmetics.
"All of the experiences that I've had in the last few years have gotten me to that point," she said. "I appreciate the artistry behind it."
She noted that growing up in the public glare as a member of one of the most famous entertainment families impacted her connection with physical attractiveness.
Jackson revealed that she recently learnt how to cope with everything by practicing self-love and affirmations and by delving further into her spiritual life.
She shared that it was not until the past few years that she began to feel very good about herself and her body, as well as feeling comfortable and everything else. These moments of self-love are not constant, but the negative moments are becoming less and fewer, she shared. This is a win, no one can dispute that.

The blonde-haired, blue-eyed beauty was recently named the newest face of KVD Beauty and has walked runways and red carpets for years, but she wants to help reinvent the "standard template" of beauty with the help of her father.
In recent years, the Jackson children have disclosed sporadic details about their father, the legendary musician Michael Jackson. Paris has previously discussed how her father instilled in his children a strong work ethic and an eclectic musical taste.
"My dad was extremely wonderful at making sure that his kids are "cultured" as well as "educated," and this was not done through just giving them a luxurious life. She told Naomi Campbell this on her YouTube series "No Filter."
"Growing up, it was about earning stuff. If we wanted five toys from FAO Schwarz or Toys R Us, we had to read five books," she said. "It's earning it, not just being entitled to certain things or thinking, 'Oh, I got this.' It's like working for it, working hard for it - it's, it's something else entirely. It's an accomplishment."
When Campbell claimed that Paris was too renowned to attend model tryouts, she insisted, she insisted that everything in life should be earned.
