Madonna is one of the most iconic musicians of all time, and she never left the spotlight since she rose to fame in the early 1980s. Today, her music remains relevant, especially in an industry where tracks are constantly used in social media apps like TikTok.

In 1998, Madonna dropped her song "Frozen," and she recently re-released a remix version of the song titled "Frozen on Fire" with feature vocals from Sickick.

According to People Magazine, the "Material Girl" songstress also re-recorded fresh new vocals for the track that took over TikTok by storm in recent months.

In an interview with the outlet, the 63-year-old pop legend said the special thing about the 2022 version of her song is DJ Sickick singing on it.

At first, the singer said she was skeptical as she always thought of Sickick as a DJ, but when she heard it, Madonna was blown away by "his musicianship, by his sense of musicality, by his melody, his singing, everything."

The "Like A Virgin" hitmaker first discovered the remix when fans started using the song on TikTok.

"I was like, 'Hey, wait a minute. What is this? This is my song,'" Madonna recalled of her reaction.

She later explained that the collaboration happened by "divine inspiration," because when she heard the remix, the singer wanted to make more of them and do new versions featuring other artists doing their take on them.

Since the first remix went viral on the platform, the audio has been used over a million times.

"Frozen on Fire" remix is the fourth iteration of the song to be made as the Sickick and Madonna have released a version in April with Fireboy DML.

When asked about her reaction to the song being viral all over again, Madonna said she had no idea that her song would take over the music scene two decades after its initial release.

The singer noted that she was pleasantly surprised, and her song has a "new life" and "a new kind of relevancy."

"Frozen on Fire" was released on Thursday along with a music video that featured some clips from her original 1998 music video.

Aside from YouTube, the remix is also available for streaming in different music platforms online.
