Jack Harlow released his second studio album two weeks ago, and so far, the album has been making strides, including one of its lead singles - "First Class."

The Fergie-sampled track has already been atop the Billboard Hot 100 charts for two nonconsecutive weeks. "First Class" is currently in a tug of war with Harry Styles' "As It Was" as the two battle it out for the top spot in the past few weeks.

Harlow, who has been very recent in the headlines lately, was praised for his performance on the song and his previous collaboration with Lil Nas X.

"Industry Baby" was nominated for Best Melodic Rap Performance at the recent Grammys but lost to Lil Baby, The Weekend, and Kanye West.

But despite his (and Lil Nas X) loss, many see the young artist's potential to prosper in the genre.

Jack Harlow Says THIS Rapper Taught Him How To Rap

Jack Harlow's newest album, "Come Home The Kids Miss You," is boosted with numerous collaborations from huge artists in the hip-hop community.

Notably, rap heavyweights like Drake and Lil Wayne are present in the young rapper's sophomore effort. With Drizzy on board, whom Drake considers a huge influence, fans are shocked that Harlow got him early on in this career.

Well, this is because the two have bonded early on in his career. The two shares a track on his newest album, "Churchill Downs."

"That's what's a real gift to this s***. Drake is one of the people who literally taught me how to rap; him, [Lil] Wayne, and Kanye [West]," Jack Harlow revealed.

The 24-year-old rapper claimed that being "close friends" with Champagne Papi is worth more than $10 million to him. (via Music News)

Jack Harlow Other Rap Idols

Aside from Drake, Harlow also considers Lil Wayne and Kanye to be one of his major inspirations.

Lil Wayne was present on both of his albums, singing "Poison" on his newest album and among the many collaborators on 2020's "What's Poppin."

Although Kanye West is not present on any of his albums, Ye gave Harlow the flowers he needed when the latter released "Nail Tech."

Jack considered Ye's massive public co-sign "one of the greatest moments of his life."

Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow recently took home the Best Rap Song at Billboard Music Awards 2022 - beating Drake's "Knife Talk" and Way 2 Sexy."
