Ozzy Osbourne will undergo neck surgery to treat an existing ailment. This, after it was announced that he contracted the COVID-19 infection.
His wife, Sharon was said to be very worried about him. But this is the first time that Ozzy himself provided details on the extent of his injuries and the things he have to do to try and recover from them. The rock star not only need a neck surgery asap, he also need something to fix his gait and ability to walk.
In an interview with Classic Rock magazine, the legendary member of Black Sabbath discussed his current health issues. Ozzy said that he "cannot walk properly these days" due to an injury he had in a quad bike accident on his farm in Buckinghamshire, England in December 2003.
His injuries, which also included a shattered collarbone, eight ribs, and a neck vertebra, will continue to cause him long-term harm. "I'm just waiting on some more surgery on my neck," he revealed. "I have physical therapy every morning. I am somewhat better, but nowhere near as much as I want to be to go back on the road." Ozzy was also questioned if he frequently considers his own mortality.

"At f**king 73, I've done pretty well. I don't plan on going anywhere, but my time's going to come," the rocker said. Ozzy revealed elsewhere in the interview that he would be returning to the United Kingdom in the near future.
"I've had enough of living out here (America) now. My intention was never to stay out here," he added.
Last month, Sharon Osbourne, Ozzy's wife, informed Talk TV that the singer had tested positive for Covid-19 and that she would come from the United Kingdom to the United States to care for him.
"I am very worried about Ozzy right now," she said at the time. But he has seemed to have mended well, despite his risks.
Back in 2020, as cases were on their height and continue to rise, the Black Sabbath frontman said that catching the coronavirus would be risky for him because of his weak respiratory health. He told GQ at the time that he has emphysema, so getting the virus is fatal for him.
In February 2021, the icon shared that he already got his COVID-19 vaccine.
In early 2020, Ozzy disclosed publicly that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. In 2019, Ozzy suffered serious injuries in a fall at his Los Angeles home, and in early 2020, he revealed he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
