Fans are taking to Twitter to express their frustrations after Conor Oberst of Bright Eyes has reportedly walked off stage during a concert.

According to Brooklyn Vegan, the musician left the stage without explaining after playing two songs at The Lawn at White Oak Music Hall in Houston, Texas.

Since no one was singing, the crowd sang a few karaoke songs before the venue ultimately canceled the show. Tickets were immediately refunded to concertgoers.

The venue sent an e-mail to fans, saying the show had been officially canceled due to "unexpected circumstances."

Jezebel Senior Reporter Caitlin Cruz attended the concert and experienced the mishap. She later took to Twitter to share what happened in the event.

"Bright Eyes played two songs. Conor Oberst walked off. And now the band is suggesting Bright Eyes karaoke with Bright Eyes for the crowd, This is a disaster and I appreciate the attempt at triage but jesus," she wrote.

As of this writing, Bright Eyes nor Conor Oberst has not publicly commented on the matter.
