Calvin Harris and Dua Lipa are set to release a new collaboration that they created together on May 27. Just perfect for those who will buy to listen to the track over and over during the weekend.
Calvin has now revealed a TikTok teaser of the new song "Potion," which features Dua Lipa after she consented to add vocals to the track. This is actually four years in the making - or at least, waiting, for their avid fans. The two initially collaborated on 2018's "One Kiss."
In the new video, Calvin plays a variety of instruments, including the keyboard and guitar, before FaceTiming Dua, who affirmatively accepts to appear on the song.
In a small snippet of the song, Dua can be heard singing, "Late night conversations, electric emotions / Sprinkled with a little bit of sex / and that's a potion."
Last month, Calvin released the details of his upcoming album, "Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 2."
Harris' sixth studio album - and first in five years - will be released this summer, though an official release date has not yet been announced, and it is unknown whether the new Dua collaboration will be included.
The DJ and producer posted a photograph of the album's title on a billboard with the caption "Summer '22" on Twitter.

His most recent album, "Funk Wav Bounces Vol.1," was released in 2017 and included the songs "Slide," "Heatstroke," "Rollin," "Faking It," and "Feels," a collaboration with Katy Perry, Pharrell, and Big Sean.
Harris is scheduled to appear at a number of concerts and festivals this summer, including one in July in Hampden Park in Glasgow.
He will also perform alongside David Guetta, Fatboy Slim, Deadmau5, CamelPhat, Becky Hill, Amelie Lens, Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, and Charlotte De Witte at the inaugural Creamfields South event.
This year, Harris released a new song titled "Lonely" under his Love Regenerator identity. He worked with Riva Starr and Sandara Maitreya on this project.
Dua Lipa herself has been pretty busy the last years, especially during the pandemic.
She stated in an interview that the global slowdown at the beginning of the pandemic actually helped her.
Dua Lipa had to make a choice amidst the turmoil and panic that ensued as the pandemic began, shutting down the world.
"Future Nostalgia," her second album, was scheduled for release in early April. The stakes were elevated. The popularity of her 2017 self-titled debut, which produced the global hit "New Rules," earned her the 2019 Grammy for best new artist.
The new album, which combined disco and '90s dance inspirations with contemporary pop songwriting, seemed ready to propel her to the next level of popularity. But it's when the global health crisis truly hit and forced industries and nations to shut down.
She was able to turn things around though. She certainly did not just sit back.
"When the pandemic happened, and everyone was worried about whether we should release the album, I was just like, F- it, maybe it's just what we need. While everyone's at home, maybe this is the album we should be putting out. It was scary, because you had no idea how long we were going to be in this pandemic. Everything was a big question mark. But I had a sense that we just had to do it."
