Doja Cat has been breaking records from left to right since she started in the music industry after dropping her debut album "Amala." However, despite her success, there are still a few songs from her catalog that the rapper didn't like.
In her recent Elle Magazine cover story, the "Woman" hitmaker participated in a game called "Thirst Trap" where she was challenged to ask controversial questions.
If she didn't want to answer the question, she has to take a shot. (watch the full video below)
At one point, the rapper was asked about a specific song or verse she regret releasing to the public. Without hesitiation, Doja answered, "Don't go and listen to 'Go To Town' I don't like that one."
She later expounded, saying the track itself is not bad. However, the lyrics and vocals were not evolved at the time.
"That song is really difficult to listen to for me. Don't waste your time," she concluded.
This is not the first time the rapper spoke badly about her debut album "Amala," as she previously noted that the record was unfinished and rushed, attributing to her overindulgence in partying and cannabis while recording it.
Despite her unhappines with her first album, Doja Cat managed to takeover the charts in recent years, thanks to her two recent albums, "Planet Her" and "Hot Pink."
Doja Cat New Album 2022: Here's What to Expect
In the same cover story for the fashion magazine, Doja said her new album is going to be "predominantly rap."
The record, which is yet-to-be-titled, has a lot of things going on but the rapper assured fans it's "coming."
Unfortunately, Doja hasn't found a way to record the songs because of rehearsals and touring.
Late last year when the "I Don't Do Drugs" hitmaker also teased fans about a possible double album which consists of a pop and hip-hop side.
It's still unclear when Doja is going to start recording her album as she recently canceled her appearance on The Weeknd's tour.
The rapper took to Twitter to discuss that she's going to have surgery on her tonsils ASAP.
Her tonsils got infected before the 2022 Billboard Music Awards happened. At the time, she was taking antibiotics to prevent her condition to get worse.
However, she forgot she was on medication so she drank wine and vaped all day.
