A$AP Rocky opened up about being a father following the birth of his first child with girlfriend Rihanna. If he and Rihanna get their way, their child will NEVER have to experience doing this - which unfortunately, a lot of people had.
In a cover story and interview published by Dazed magazine (via Hollywood Life) on Monday, May 30th, the 34-year-old rapper revealed the one thing he never wants his child to "lose."
"I will always remind my children to never lose their imagination, even as adults, no matter what," he revealed.
He added that more than anything, he really wanted his children (oooh, more than one then?) to be open-minded.
"I hope to raise open-minded children. Not people who discriminate. And I'm not trying to describe a saint, but realistically, I just want a cool child with cool parents," he said to the magazine.
As early as now, it is possible to say this child can grow up to be anything he wants. His parents are
A$AP and GRAMMY-winning Rihanna, 34, after all. His mom is even behind the fashion and beauty empire with Savage X Fenty lingerie and Fenty Beauty.

The celebrity, whose real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers, also revealed that he "loves" cartoons, implying that he will likely watch animated series with his youngster. "I actually love to watch cartoons - I've watched like, Teletubbies, Blue's Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba, Peppa Pig and Baby Shark," he added.
After two years of dating, the A-List couple revealed they were expecting their first child in January 2022. In the months that followed, Rihanna revolutionized maternity fashion, embracing her growing baby bulge and evolving figure in a series of sensual outfits including bikini tops and tiny skirts in Los Angeles, Paris, Miami, New York, and her native Barbados, to name a few.
It can be recalled that this bundle of joy surprised many. The Anti singer gave birth to her son in Los Angeles on May 13.
On other instances, Rihanna donned looser, cozier outfits, which prompted comparisons to A$fashion AP's sense. The rapper disclosed, however, that it was spontaneous and unplanned. "I think it's just natural. We happen to look good together naturally," he said.
"You know, it would take a lot of work to have us forcefully match before we leave the house. Sometimes we match to a T, or we just wear the same clothes. If I buy a shirt that she likes, I expect to get it stolen... but then I gotta steal it back," he teased.
