Is The 1975 finally back? Although the band has not yet confirmed any of this, posters hinting at the band's return suggest they will be back next week!

Fans of the English rock band have been scrambling for answers as posters noting the band's return pop out in East London.

The 1975 New Album 2022: London Posters Hints Possible Release Date?

Earlier this year, The 1975 has deactivated their social media accounts, which fans believe is a hint that the band will soon release new music. This has long been the pattern of the band months before the arrival of new material - so fans were not as surprised with what happened.

The radio silence from the four-piece band is not a shocker, but eagle-eyed fans have noticed some pretty major changes in the band's recently reactivated Instagram page and website.

The band's profile photos on both Instagram and Spotify were changed to a blue title on a white background.

All members of the band's profile photos on Instagram were also changed in the same colors with their respective names.

The most notable hint that the band is returning comes in the form of posters posted in the streets of Brick Lane, East London.

The poster, which featured a distortedly long photo of its bandleader, Matty Healy, was featured along with the date, Jun. 7, 2022.

While some fans remained skeptical about the circulating posters, the same photo then appeared on the newly re-constructed website of the band along with the same logos and colors as on the social media pages.

However, there is still no concrete information about what June 7 brings - but some argue that the band shall only be releasing a single instead of the full album already.

In the past few months, the band has only provided little to no updates on the band's follow-up to 2020's "Note On A Conditional Form."

The 1975 manager Jamie Oborne somehow confirmed the upcoming music over a tweet just recently. Teasing fans how he wished he could play the band's new music, Oborne described it as "so beautiful."

In August 2022, the band will be staging a comeback at Japan's Summer Sonic Festival - marking their first live show since their performance in Dublin last March 2020.
