As odd as the Odd Future members may be, their annual Camp Flag Gnaw Festival continues to bring in more and more mainstream popular acts. The lineup for the third rendition of the event—to be held at the park at the Los Angeles Coliseum—will feature performances from Pharrell Williams, Rick Ross and more.
Naturally, being that this is an event organized by Odd Future, the rap group's members will take a good chunk of spotlight. Big names Tyler, The Creator and Earl Sweatshirt will of course perform, but cohorts Domo Genesis, Hodgy Beats, Left Brain and Mike G will also get solo sets. No Frank Ocean yet but more acts are due to be announced and they've got to keep something a surprise, right (last year Kanye West made a special appearance)? Although Murs, Grouch and Eligh are listed as solo performers, the three are also part of the L.A. underground group Living Legends, so expect some group activities.
For those who don't go to music festivals for, you know, music, there are a litany of other activities. The festival is actually festival themed, with carnival rides and games (whack-a-mole is featured in the preview video). A skatepark will be present, reflecting Odd Future's personal hobbies, and concerts will take place in that vicinity as well.
Here's the full lineup as of now: Pharrell Williams, Rick Ross, Tyler, The Creator, Mac Miller, Earl Sweatshirt, Murs, The Grouch, Eligh, Action Bronson, Step Brothers, Freddie Gibbs, Trash Talk, Vince Staples, Dem Atlas, Cherry Glazerr, The Internet, Hodgy Beats, Left Brain, Domo Genesis, Mike G, Taco, Jasper, DJ Billy Jole.
Tickets go one sale August 8.
