Sheil Sagar, a singer who just debuted last year, has died. He was only 22.
The music industry was bombarded with another death news after KK's passing as multiple news outlets confirmed Sagar's death.
As reported by Rolling Stone India, the young musician died earlier this month. His friends and colleagues have since shared the heartbreaking news online, expressing their regret after losing the young artist.
One of Sagar's friends, according to Hindustan Times, sent a heartfelt message to him after learning about his death.
"Today is a sad day... first KK and then this beautiful budding musician who had us in awe with his rendition of my favorite song ['Wicked Games'] may you rest in peace #SheilSagar," the pal wrote.
Before his death, Sagar's debut acoustic song, "If I Tried," immediately became a hit on Spotify. He released more singles last year, including "Mr. Mobile Man (Live), "Still," and "Before It Goes."
Sagar also recorded a single version of "Mr. Mobile Man" at the Piano Man Jazz Club in Gurugram.
His family is yet to share a statement to address the event, and Sheil Sagar's cause of death remains unknown to the public.

What Happened to Singer KK?
Sagar's death came a day after legendary crooner, KK, collapsed and died at a hotel.
Indian news company NDTV reported that KK, whose real name was Krishnakumar Kunnath, collapsed at the hotel where he was staying. Billboard added that the singer arrived at the building after his performance at Kolkata's Nazrul Mancha auditorium.
He was still able to rush him to a nearby medical facility, Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) but was later pronounced dead.

KK needed immediate medical attention after complaining of uneasiness upon his arrival at the hotel. Meanwhile, an exclusive video of KK being taken back to the hotel also went gone viral.
The clip already showed KK looking tired and exhausted as his security assisted him outside the venue.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter and said, "Saddened by the untimely demise of noted singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK. His songs reflected a wide range of emotions as struck a chord with people of all age groups. We will always remember him through his songs. Condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti."
