Justin Bieber has provided fans with an update on his health, days after canceling portions of his "Justice Tour" and disclosing that he has partial facial paralysis. It's no joke, this syndrome, because it can cause hearing and even vision loss.
As seen on his Instagram Stories on June 14, the Canadian musician told followers that he is feeling better and that he finds solace in his faith at this "horrific" moment.
In other words, while he is still in the throes of this disease, he is actually feeling and getting better.
"Wanted to share a little bit of how I've been feelin'. Each day has gotten better and through all of the discomfort, I have found comfort in the one who designed me and knows me," he wrote.
Bieber said the disease is humbling him even more, because he knows it is not him who is on the wheels on his life. Instead, it is God.
"I'm reminded he knows all of me. He knows the darkest parts of me that I want no one to know about and he constantly welcomes me into his loving arms," Bieber added. "This perspective has given me peace during this horrific storm that I'm facing. I know this storm will pass but in the meantime, Jesus is with me."

On June 11, Bieber first informed his fans about his health situation. He revealed that he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which left him with facial paralysis. The "Peaches" singer acknowledged that he was physically unable to perform his future gigs, but was performing facial exercises and was expected to recover.
According to facial paralysis specialist plastic reconstructive surgeon Charles Nduka, the musician was exhibiting early indications of recovery. Nduka further mentioned that approximately 75% of people with the aforementioned disease achieve a full recovery if they receive early therapy, such as corticosteroids and antivirals.
There are rumors and suspicions over the singer's future, since some of his fans think he may need time to fully recuperate, which could negatively impact his career.
Ramsay Hunt syndrome is exceedingly uncommon. According to the US National Organization for Rare Disorders, just five people per one hundred thousand are anticipated to get this disease each year.
In the majority of cases, full recovery can occur within days or weeks, but permanent hearing loss and vision impairment can occur in some circumstances.
The Canadian-born musician is performing facial workouts to "get back to normal," but he is unsure of how long it will take for him to recuperate.
