Amongst all the recent Kanye West, the Internet has unearthed a gem from Ye's past.
In 2010, the mercurial rapper decided not to release the music video for "Robocop," which featured ex-girlfriend Amber Rose. All we got was a behind-the-scenes look at the footage.
But HHNM recently discovered an Instagram post from artist and 3D modeler Shihan Barbee, which features a 16-second clip from the lost "Robocop" cut.
Check it here:
The stop-motion snippet features Rose in some sort of latex robot outfit while Kanye makes weird faces.
It makes you wonder: Maybe West decided not to release the full video because it sucks, not because he was upset over his breakup.
Either way, 808s and Heartbreak was three albums ago for Chicago's hip-hop star. His newest untitled album is expected this fall, and part of the single "All Day" has already been leaked onto the Interwebs. Ye found time last week to play with daughter North West in the studio, a moment that wife Kim Kardashian documented on Instagram.
His most controversial contribution to the weekly news cycle came during his court case on Wednesday. Facing charges of attacking a paparazzo, West called for a celebrity civil rights movement while dishing out some great quotes.
"I'm the smartest celebrity you've ever f--king dealt with," West told the accuser's attorney. "I'm not Britney Spears,"
News on West is also being made without any sort of involvement from Kanye. Pop group The Chainsmokers released their new single - "Kanye" - this week.
"I want to be like Kanye," Siren sings. "I'll be the king of me always / Do what I want, I'll have it my way / All day, like Kanye."
