Justin Bieber's recovery might be a bit longer than we had expected. Recently, he has announced that more appearances will be postponed due to his current condition.
Last week, the Canadian popstar revealed in a video that he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, a disease that paralyzes half of his face.
His current status prohibits or limits him from doing strenuous activity, especially singing, as half of his face is paralyzed. This prompted a number of postponed shows and performances for his "Justice" World Tour 2022.
Justin Bieber Postpones U.S. Shows For Longer Recovery
AEG, Justin Bieber's Tour Promoter for the "Justice" World Tour, announced that the remaining dates for his North American tour would be postponed to give way for the artist to recover from the complications that the Ramsay Hunt Syndrome has brought.
"In light of Justin's ongoing recovery, the remaining US Justice Tour shows scheduled for June and early July, including at Summerfest at the @amfamamp in Milwaukee, WI on Friday, June 24, 2022, will be postponed." the statement reads. (via Billboard)
Per the promoter, Justin continues to receive the best medical care possible. Currently, the singer is "upbeat" in his recovery and looks forward to getting back on the stage to perform for his fans worldwide later this summer.
AEG announced that dates for the rescheduled Summerfest show should be announced soon. Refunds, however, will be available at the point of purchase.
Ticket holders for the Bieber show at Summerfest on Jun. 24, 2022, will be receiving a Digital 2022 Summerfest GA Ticket, valid for any day of the festival.

Justin initially postponed shows in Toronto a week ago, under doctor's orders, without revealing yet the real reason for the last-minute cancellation.
Days after, Bieber shocked the world with his diagnosis via video, which worried his fans globally.
Although he affirmed that he would be recovering from the viral infection soon, the singer's tour schedule has been affected already - postponing gigs in DC, New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Uncasville, Connecticut, and St. Louis, among others.
Las Vegas, Arizona, and California concerts will also not push through. The highly-anticipated "Justice" World Tour is expected to trek over Europe in early August 2022 before trekking a string of concerts in Asia in September.
