This is not a drill! It appears that Lil Nas X is brewing something in the recording studio as he shared a clip on Instagram, but eagle-eyed fans spotted that he's working with a Grammy award-winning musician.
According to Uproxx, the rapper shared a video on his stories vibing inside a studio where he appeared to have just recorded new music.
Many fans were happy to see the musician, who shared his new blonde hair, as he's working on new music after the success of his debut album "Montero."
However, some people also pointed out the mysterious man behind him holding a guitar.
It turns out it was Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter.
"Am I hallucinating or is it Thomas Bangalter in the studio with Lil Nas X????" one fan wrote on Twitter.
This is the first time the record producer/musician appeared a year after Daft Punk made headlines for releasing a cryptic video titled "Epilogue," which hinted at their disbandment.
The robot-masked duo walked into a desert, where it ended in a dramatic explosion. By the end of the video, "1993-2021" flashed on the screen.
As of this writing, Lil Nas X has not revealed a release date or tracklist for his new music.
