Justin Timberlake should either ask for more help from his choreographer, or hire a completely new one.

Saturday at the Something in the Water music event in Washington, D.C., the 41-year-old artist was spotted dancing to the Beat Ya Feet dance, which has been popular in the area for over two decades.

On stage, though, the "Cry Me a River" singer's dance routines failed to wow the audience.

Timberlake's performance attire consisted of khaki slacks, orange sneakers, and a green button-down.

Videos showing him shaking his body went viral, and Twitter users were naturally compelled to weigh in.

"JT did not just say 'beat your feet' and proceed to river dance & skip. Boy if you don't get your ass off the stage," mocked one user.

"Justin Timberlake said 'DC beat your feet' and proceeded to do the hokey pokey," noted another.

Is this a sign that he needs to retire already?

Weird thing is, as certain netizens mock the singer's dance moves, some have also been thanking him online, in the belief that he is set to announce his retirement soon.

For a little while on Tuesday evening, #ThankYouJustin was a trending hashtag on Twitter. Several fans reminisce and look back on all the unforgettable memories that the singer gave them, and felt sad that he could no longer pursue on.

The American singer, well known for his performance in The Social Network and for popular songs such as Rock Your Body and Cry Me a River, will reportedly announce his immediate retirement from music at the age of 41. At least according to the rumors, which have been debunked by certain sites, but not the singer himself.

If he does retire though, it would not be that surprising too, because fatherhood can certainly put things into perspective.

Justin Timberlake's partner Jessica Biel paid him a touching tribute on Father's Day by sharing a heartwarming family photo.

The "7th Heaven"star posted a sweet photo of herself with Timberlake and their two sons to Instagram. She described JT as "the world" to the family, not just a dad. She said she is extremely grateful for him.
