Since the world is slowly returning to normal after almost all physical events were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, music festivals and concerts are now making a big comeback. Festival D'été de Québec is one of them, and they announced their official lineup for the 2022 edition of the event.
According to Complex, many celebrities are gearing up to perform from July 6 to 17 at the Plains of Abraham in Quebec City, Canada.
The following artists will headline the 12-day festival:
- Halsey
- Alanis Morisette
- Rage Against the Machine
- Loud
- Marshmello
- Maroon 5
- $UICIDEBOY$
- Charlotte Cardin
- Luis Fonsi
- Jack Johnson
- Luke Combs
Aside from the artists mentioned above, the music festival will also feature hip-hop acts like Freddie Gibbs, Young M.A, FouKi, 2 Chainz, Denzel Curry, and Lil Tecca.
The official lineup includes other performers like Charli XCX, Remi Wolf, the Beaches, Three Days Grace, Alex Sensation, and many more.
As of this writing, tickets for the 12-day event are sold out on their official website. Fans shouldn't be upset as they added a new "Le Jardin" pass that would let them watch individual shows among the lineup that will perform on the Bell Stage on the Plains of Abraham.
Most of the acts are already sold out but passes for Halsey, Loud, Luis Fonsi, and $UICIDEBOY$ shows are still available and are priced from $60 to $120.
The recent festival announcement comes a few weeks after headliner Halsey went viral on TikTok after they canceled one of their shows for the "Love and Power Tour" in North America.
The "Young God" hitmaker, who prefers she/they pronouns, was set to perform at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland, but was forced to cancel the show due to extreme weather.
Fans were already gathered at the venue when the flood started filling up the pavilion despite Howard County and Baltimore areas in the state being placed under a tornado warning.
Halsey then took to their official Twitter account to address the mishap, saying they were disappointed by how the venue handled the situation.
"I am beyond disappointed with the way the venue handled everything tonight and my rescheduled date will be happening somewhere else. I hear you guys loud and clear I promise," they wrote.
As of this writing, Halsey's team has not announced an official rescheduled date for the concert.
