Sir Paul McCartney is now worth twice as much as his longtime nemesis Mick Jagger. Does this mean The Beatles has more fans now compared to The Rolling Stones?

The Beatles legend, 80 years old, earned £4 million ($4,878,760 USD) during the pandemic, raising his firm's total assets to £22,58 million or $27,544,213 USD.

The Sunday Times Rich List revealed that Paul's wealth has increased to £865 million or $105,517,0250 USD, roughly.

In contrast, Jagger, who is 78 years old, has earned a fortune of £400 million ($487,940,000). This is actually just half of what Paul McCartney has amassed.

However, due to the reintroduction of live music, both artists may anticipate a meteoric rise in their fortunes over the following year.

In addition to touring the United States earlier this year, Macca headlined Glastonbury on Saturday.

Currently, Jagger is on tour with The Rolling Stones as part of their Sixty 2022 European Tour, which includes two performances at London's Hyde Park as part of the British Summer Time Festival.

More than 34 million iPlayer streams have been made of the BBC's Glastonbury coverage, more than double the 15.8 million made during the festival's 2019 run.

The Rolling Stones headlined BST Hyde Park for their 60th anniversary on June 25 with Mick Jagger performing a spectacular show after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

When the rock band, which features Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood, commemorated the 60th anniversary of their first performance at the Marquee Club in London, a 78-year-old musician wowed the crowds.

When it came to their attire, Sir Mick and Ronnie were both dressed to the nines.

After Charlie Watts' death at the age of 80 last year, drummer Steve Jordan was brought in to replace him.

Sir Mick told the audience how grateful the band is for their support before a spectacular version of Paint It Black.

When Sir Mick announced on June 13 that he had been diagnosed with Covid, and apologized for canceling shows with "so short notice," he claimed that he is now feeling "much better."

Paul McCartney was recently criticized by netizens for including a Johnny Depp clip in a music video for his performance at Glastonbury.

Saturday, while performing on Britain's Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage, the Beatles icon played a medley of his incredible classics.

According to Independent, the singer ""became the festival's oldest ever solo headliner at 80 years old."

Paul allegedly performed his 2012 hit "My Valentine," which he dedicated to his wife Nancy, and shared music video snippets for the song at the occasion.

The clips showed the Pirates of the Caribbean actor "playing the guitar and signing the song's lyrics," which caused mixed reactions.

Others were happy to see the legend supporting another legend of his own right in his music career after a harrowing defamation trial, but others were not so keen to see that. One user wrote, "Deeply disappointed in both Paul McCartney and Glastonbury for the Johnny Depp video. Feel like it goes against everything Glastonbury stands for."
