The Strokes performed at Roskilde Festival in Denmark over the weekend, and fans are concerned about frontman Julian Casablancas' attitude on stage. Recently, the singer has finally addressed the situation online.

According to Stereogum, fans labeled the singer's performance as "sloppy," and it reached a point where a concert-reviewing website, Soundvenue, rated the band one out of five stars.

The site noted that the band had a 30-minute delay before starting, and Casablancas had many "infinitely embarrassing and incoherent monologues."

The article concluded its review by writing, "a historic meltdown."

On Monday, Casablancas finally spoke about the situation without directly addressing anyone, saying he's not tuned into Twitter, but he knows that some fans were confused over his performance.

"I'm fine... far as i know ... people been asking me weiiird questionnns - ahh the dumb side of social media... Lame-Os running around so hard and free," he wrote on Instagram.

He concluded his post by writing, "PS, the concerns and questions are kind and fine! it's the strangers announcing /acting like they know some shit that's dumb. (weird questions, not the dumb side haha)."

After posting his statement, many fans rallied in the comment section to continue expressing their concern.

One follower wrote, "Wouldn't that mean that they're worried about you?"

"are you sure you are fine?" another one wrote.

Casablancas has not responded to his fans as of this writing.

The latest post comes a month after The Strokes were forced to cancel their headline set at this year's Primavera Sound Festival after a member of their camp tested positive for COVID-19.

In a statement, the band noted that they tried everything to prevent the spread of the virus, and despite them wanting to perform at the festival, they couldn't "always get what you want."

In the end, the band's set was replaced with Caribou, followed by Mogwai.

Fans will still have a chance to watch their favorite band live as The Strokes will be traveling down under for their shows in Australia.

They will first perform at the Splendour in the Grass music festival along with other notable acts like Tyler The Creator, Gorillaz, and more.

Following this, The Strokes will embark on a short tour around the country in venues like the John Cain Arena in Melbourne on July 26 and Sydney's Hordern Pavilion.
