Kanye West has been served...with two sausages?
The famous British bakery poked fun at Kanye West's newly released Yeezy shoes, which they consider to have a striking resemblance to their world-famous sausage rolls.
The witty jab came a month after Kanye West furiously ranted online about Adidas allegedly copying the design of his shoes.
Greggs Dissed Kanye West's New Yeezy Shoes
The Yeezy Mafia recently posted the design of its new addition to the pack on Twitter. Expecting a huge positive from its fans, the Twitter world did the total opposite of what the brand expected to get.
From comparing it to a failed TikTok recipe, a pack of butter, Japanese gyoza, and even macaroni - netizens were nothing but ruthless and hilarious in their responses.
But the one taking the cake was the famous British bakery chain - Greggs, which took a solid swipe on the famous footwear.
To say the least, Twitter was hysterically laughing at the on-point comparison to their world-famous sausage rolls. To add more salt to the sausage roll, more users left more jokes with the now-gold jab.
"Kanye get these in vegan?" a user asked. "Just need to pop it in the oven to warm up loool," a fan tweeted in response.
"Looks like they should go back in for another 10mins, under cooked dough, soggy bottom," another wan quipped.
The replies both on the original tweet and on Gregg's response were ruthless, ridiculous, and witty - insanely proving how many objects the new Yeezy kicks looked like.
This was not the first time Kanye's Yeezy designs have been in the spotlight in the past months.
Kanye West Enraged Over Addidas Alleged Copying of Yeezy Designs
Breaking his months-long hiatus on Instagram last June, Kanye West shared a now-deleted rant on the platform, calling out Addidas for alleged copyright issues.
"To Kasper, I'm not standing for this blatant copying any more [...] this is for everyone who wants to express themselves but feels they can't because they'll lose their contract or be called crazy," an enraged Kanye posted at the time.
The design in question was the new Addidas Adilette 22. Per the brand, the footwear took inspiration from the recent 3D topography scans on the Mars expedition. But, Kanye thinks it was a copycat from his own designs.
