July 13 was a difficult day for Demi Lovato, not because they took a nasty fall, but also because their head hit some crystals and they needed stitches.
The 29-year-old artist posted on TikTok a photo of a cut just above their left eye, stating they needed stitches.
While the cut appeared to have been painful, the pop singer displayed it to their followers in a video with a TikTok voice stating, "Nobody's gonna know/They're gonna know/How would they know?"
Demi began their music video with their hand over their eyebrow and a portion of their head out of frame. As the audio proceeded, they removed their hand and revealed the cut.
Despite the appearance of a rough cut, they smiled at the camera and seemed unconcerned. In the post, they also made light of the cut by joking about their appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday, July 14.
They added, "Guess who smacked their head on a crystal and needs stitches before Kimmel tomorrow?"
Even though they're receiving sutures, the gash appeared to be rather little, and it doesn't appear to be anything that makeup couldn't cover! Hopefully, Demi will soon feel much better!
Demi's visit on Kimmel precedes the Friday release of their latest single "Substance" from their forthcoming album HOLY F**K. One track from the pop-punk-inspired new rocked has been published thus far, titled "Skin of my Teeth," which offers an honest glimpse at the singer's struggles with addiction.
They offered an optimistic anthem as the album's first single. Prior to the release of the new song, Demi hinted that their upcoming album would be less pop-oriented than their past albums. The album is anticipated to be released on August 19.
In her latest post, she said the new album takes them to their roots.
In addition to new music, Demi has a relatively recent tattoo and an edgy haircut.
The "Stone Cold" actor stated that they had the phrase "Choose Love" tattooed on their bicep to demonstrate solidarity for migrants worldwide, particularly those fleeing Ukraine.
Needless to say, Lovato is living the rockstar lifestyle to the fullest. The singer showcased their new shabby bob haircut on social media, which complements the punk rock phase they are now completely immersed in. Lovato completed their new style with a crimson and black suit that mimics a schoolgirl's attire, but is more edgier. The "Cool for the Summer" singer has altered her appearance to reflect her music more accurately. According to samples the musician has been posting on Instagram, their upcoming album will predominantly consist of punk rock, much like their debut studio album, Don't Forget.
