Kodak Black is facing yet another run-in with the law in Florida.
While cruising Ft. Lauderdale, authorities stopped Kodak Black's automobile, which was full of weed and illegal drugs, among others.
The 25-year-old rapper is not new to this setup as he was previously arrested numerous times on almost similar cases in the past few years.
Kodak Black Arrested Again in Florida
In TMZ's initial report, Kodak Black was stopped yesterday, July 15, in Ft. Lauderdale while cruising with his Dodge Durango, whose tint had caught the attention of roving police at the time.
After being pulled over, authorities reported that Kodak's Durango "reeked" of marijuana. With the appalling stench of weed, the police eventually conducted a search.
Kodak Black was found with 31 Oxycodone pills, a highly addictive opioid medication used to treat moderate to severe pain.
Per Medline, Oxycodone may cause serious or life-threatening breathing problems.
Apart from the seized drugs, the police have also found hard-cold cash amounting to $74,960 in the car.
To cap off the massive search, Kodak Black's tags and license were also expired upon checking.
Later on, the "Super Gremlin" hitmaker was brought to Broward County Jail. Fox reports later that night that the singer is charged with trafficking.
Kodak Black Previous Arrests, Trump Presidential Pardon
Getting arrested had become a habit for Kodak Black in the past years, as his long line of police records stemmed in 2015 when he was placed into a youth detention center three times in one year before heading to probation.
Kodak's most prominent case was in 2019 when authorities arrested him before his Rolling Loud Miami performance after being found with firearm charges.
The rapper was hit with multiple charges at the time, including making a false statement on a governmental form, repeated violation of his probation guidelines, and assault charges, among many others.
In 2020, he was eventually sentenced to 2 to 7 years in prison and 46-month sentencing for lying on federal paperwork. But on then President Donald Trump's last rulings, he issued Kodak Black a presidential pardon.
After his release, Kodak still had run-ins with the law; the last one before this was a trespassing charge on Pompano Beach on New Year's Eve of 2022.
