On Sunday, July 17, Lady Gaga's international tour, "the Chromatica Ball," officially began in Germany, kicking off a summer-long celebration all across the globe.

While the track listing appeared to remove famous bangers such as "Marry the Night" and the whole ARTPOP repertoire, it still included numerous great Mother Monster hits such as "Bad Romance," "Shallow," and "Rain on Me."

The most remarkable however, is her massive and nostalgic performance of "Monster" as a tribute to 2009's The Fame Monster era. The performance was reminiscent of past Lady Gaga live shows, like her 2009 VMA performance of "Paparazzi," which was over-the-top, goofy, and a bit violent.

Lady Gaga played 'Monster' at the first night of 'The Chromatica Ball' for the first time in eight years.

The pop superstar certainly made sure patrons of her delayed tour were in for a real treat.

In addition to performing nine songs from the Grammy-winning album, including 'Stupid Love,' 'Rain On Me,' and '911' and 'Sour Candy,' the 'House of Gucci' actress dusted off her 2009 hit that she hadn't performed live since April 2014.

On her spartan stage inspired by brutalist architecture, the pop artist emerged from the fog and debuted with "Bad Romance" while wearing an equally austere outfit. She was donning a VERY figure-hugging, extraterrestrial-inspired dress, replete with spiked arms and shoulders.

It is actually a relic from Gareth Pugh's spring 2007 collection, completed by her death-defying Pleaser platforms.

Her three go-to stylists, Nicola Formichetti, Tom Eerebout, and Sandra Amador, are responsible for the Chromatica Ball tour's wardrobe.

While the Chromatica album's lead hit, "Stupid Love," featured Gaga embracing a futuristic pink aesthetic, the current tour features Gaga reclaiming her signature "Mother Monster" style.

This meant no soft hues. She now favored a darker, edgier appearance.

The "Mother Monster" aesthetic is menacingly sci-fi but high-fashion.

It is the look for which Gaga is best recognized despite all the years that have passed and all the evolutions she went through.

Even though she has experimented with country western style for her Joanne album era and Old Hollywood style for her "A Star Is Born" press tour, the Chromatica Ball is a triumphant return to her freaky-looking attire.

During a performance of "Replay," for instance, Gaga wears a nude latex bodysuit by Vex Latex that has the appearance of being smeared with fake red goo-accented with taped X's over the bust.

Topping it all off? A massive spiked necklace that looks quite deathly to even touch.

Her fashion is certainly on point.
