Britney Spears aired additional family complaints on Instagram on Sunday, targeting her sister Jamie Lynn and mother Lynne Spears.
These posts have since been deleted - but not before they went a bit viral, and have been labeled false. Some said this is a sign that that the singer - who's making a comeback with Elton John, is not in the right frame of mind.
Is Britney Spears mentally okay? Can she handle a reboot of her music career as she struggles to heal from her conservatorship woes? Should she even revive her music career when she has more healing to do? This can be surmised from the many comments triggered by the IG posts of Spears
In one post, the 40-year-old pop icon shared a photo of her sister with their father Jamie Spears as evidence that she had resisted Covid-19 lockdowns, despite the photo appearing to be from 2019 as TMZ clarified.
Britney opened her now deleted Instagram post on a somewhat sarcastic tone, writing, "Since I'm such a LOVED person, there is SOOOO much to talk about y'all,' before she raved about being able to drink coffee.
She also complained about moving and losing all of her men's blazers throughout the upheaval. She said, "Reflecting back, here are some pictures of my family,' she continued. 'I'm reflecting back because it was during Covid, when the conservatorship was still in place and I couldn't have the keys to my car or leave my home ... But as you can see, my sister and my dad are out together and my husband and his sisters are all out having coffee ... They be so cool y'all."

Britney then pondered once more why her actions are usually criticized. She then ranted why her sister is building a massive house in Louisiana and yet no one was calling her out on it. She said too why aren't the "livers' of her family members exposed, while hers has been constantly ridiculed. She said she has become a punchline in the news and it is not a good place to be.
"'Since people can all candidly get a kick out of me, I would thoroughly enjoy showing up at my families home to see what secrets they're hiding ... I mean my mom hid 9 million things whenever I walked into the kitchen when I was home!!!" she also said.
She then jumped to saying she loves the movie Ratatouille beause it is about food. Some fans found that a bit confusing, although some reports claimed that it must be a sign that she's suggesting she's like the chef, being controlled by a tiny mouse.
Page Six adds that Spears met with Elton John last week in a Beverly Hills recording studio to create a new version of the song, which will be released by Universal Music the following month. Reportedly, Grammy-winning producer Andrew Watt, who has collaborated with Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Pearl Jam, and Ozzy Osbourne, would oversee the session.
