Drake revealed that he was not on his private plane for its 14-minute ride. It can be remembered that this supposed private plane ride by the rapper has caught intense backlash.

Drake said "logistics" were the reason for his private jet's usee, which outraged eco-conscious followers. He said they were merely transporting planes, not transporting him.

"This is just them moving planes to whatever airport they are being stored at for anyone who was interested in the logistics...nobody takes that flight," he said.

The "Jimmy Cooks" rapper provided the explanation after many reports claimed he had traveled the short distance using his $185 million luxury plane, dubbed "Air Drake."

According to CelebJets, Drake's plane was documented taking off from Hamilton to Toronto on an 18-minute flight on July 12. The aircraft flew the same route twice on June 28 for 14 minutes and June 17 for 16 minutes. According to CelebJets, each aircraft produced approximately five tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

Climate campaigners criticized the OVO artist's rapid flights for emitting damaging greenhouse gases.

"I think we need to as a society have a conversation about whether we should be allowing these private flights to be happening in the first place," climate campaign coordinator Ian Borsuk said on CTV New Toronto (via VladTV.) "I think it can really be frustrating for some folks when, you know, they're thinking to themselves, 'OK, well, I'm doing everything I can in my daily routine to cut down on greenhouse gas emissions, such as taking public transit, buying local products, and things like that."

Drake has been enjoying a luxury lifestyle, touring Europe on a yacht valued at $660,000 while hanging out with YouTube star Suede Brooks.

Specifically, 767 is ludicrously enormous for a private plane, yet the rapper had the financial means to acquire one. While it's great for interntional tours, climate supporters do not understand the need to fly it for less than a quarter of an hour.

For visual context, the famed Air Force One is merely a 747. It is two larger aircraft than Air Force One.

Kylie Jenner got criticism and was labeled a "climate criminal" after her private jet went from Camarillo, California to Van Nuys, California in under 17 minutes earlier this month. The drive takes only forty-five minutes.

Jenner has yet to react on the criticism and has instead boasted that she and Travis Scott, the father of her children, also own private jets.
