Over the years, many reports have been circulating about how Lady Gaga is kind to her millions of fans worldwide. Recently, while performing at her sold-out Chromatica Ball concert, the singer seemingly remembered a concertgoer whom she had last seen years ago.
A viral video of Mother Monster is currently making rounds on Twitter where she changed the lyrics of her song "Replay" from "you had the gun" to "lavender blonde."
Many fans were curious as to why the singer changed the lyrics all of a sudden; many of them think it's an homage to her "The Fame Monster" era as the song "So Happy I Could Die" contained the lyrics "I love that lavender blonde," but a fan spoke out that it was about her.
Taking to her Twitter account, a little monster named Jodie Carrington revealed the details behind her years-long interaction with the Grammy Award-winning singer. The fan said she wore a lavender blonde wig during one of Gaga's concerts in May 2010, and she noticed her from the crowd.
The singer then gave her the nickname "Lily Lilac Lavender Blonde." Since then, Carrington has attended many concerts and even gave the singer a fan book she read on stage during her show in Sheffield.
Years later, she attended the Born This Way Ball in Lithuania, where she met the singer backstage.
She claimed that Gaga said that she was looking for her while performing, and she was freaking out. The singer then promised to take her on stage at her next concert.
Carrington then shared photos of them together on stage in 2012.
She also attended a show in Amsterdam where Gaga paid homage to her good pal, saying, "there's someone in the front row that I've known for a long time, is that Lavender Blonde?"
Fast forward to today in her recent show in Arnhem; the fan said she had no expectations, but she's glad the singer still remembers her through the years.
"After 12 years she kept this connection going. I don't throw letters or make signs. I just go with my Lavender Blonde hair and watch her face light up when she sees me. What could be better than that?" she added.
Lady Gaga is currently touring around the world for her Chromatica Ball. Her next stop will be at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, United Kingdom, from July 29 to 30.
