Regardless of the situation, the Beyhive will always possess a certain kind of vitality that shows up even more if they found the need to defend Beyonce and her music.

They won't back down from any singers - no matter how renowned and legendary they are. They certainly won't let Diane Warren make an offhanded comment about Queen Bey - at least offhanded in their minds.

Beyoncé fans were quick to direct criticisms on songwriter Diane Warren when they felt as if t he songwriter was referencing Beyonce's most recent album, "Renaissance," in her tweet.

Diane, who has written songs for Cher, Celine Dion, and Beyoncé, tweeted on August 1: "How can there be 24 writers on a song? [rolling eyes emoji]."

She followed up by writing, "This isn't meant as shade, I'm just curious," but added, "That's 23 more than are on mine."

It did not matter if she put a disclaimer though, Beyonce's fans thought she was referring to their idol, especially since the newest album has tracks including "Alien Superstar," that contain over 20 writers.

Fans on Twitter were not amused. It could very well because she chose a triggering emoji (hello, why the need to roll eyes if she's just asking?).

"It's quite simple," one user wrote. "If you sample/interpolate several songs within a new recording, all of those original songwriters receive credit along with those who contributed to the new composition."

Another added, "As one of the greatest songwriters of all time, I think you how lol."

A third commenter thinks Warren was truly out to get Beyonce and devalue her. "This is kind of a boring narrative at this point and it's sad to see artists' attempt to devalue one another," the person wrote.

Before the release of "Renaissance," Beyoncé announced a track listing that featured a multitude of collaborations with different musicians, including Tems, The Dream, and Skrillex.

The majority of the tracks on the 16-track album use samples and interpolations from classic songs, such as "Break My Soul," her breakthrough smash.

In the wake of criticism from these aggressive fans though, Warren stayed classy. She's been in the business far too long to engage in any Internet feud. "Ok, it's prob samples that add up the amount of writers," she tweeted calmly.
