Ariana Grande's r.e.m. beauty may have been her way to honor her ex-BF Mac Miller again, and immortalize him in a way. While she did not say so, eagled-eye fans who purchased her lip oils are convinced this is the case and they are beyond touched.
The pop artist has lately released a 60-shade sweetness concealer range, a charming homage to her fourth studio album; however, it is the name of her lip oil that has fans intrigued. In addition to its distinctive metal tip applicator, fans have discovered that one of the shade names appears to recall "The Way," Ari and Mac's 2013 chart-topping collaboration.
Quick-minded TikTokers observed the use of lip oil in ""Pickin Petals" was a reference to Mac's lyric in the song, in which he rapped, "Picking petals off the flowers like / Do she love me, do she love me not? (love me not)."
Some fans took to their social media to share what they feel was the singer's gesture in these lip oils and their number is actually big enough to start an actual conversation where everyone gave their reasons why they thought Ariana Grande was truly honoring Mac Miller - who passed away so tragically and left her heartbroken.
As user @kaylie_vazquez captioned her video this way, "when you get the r.e.m. beauty lip oil in 'picking petals' and realize ari keeps dropping us little reminders of mac."

"and his favorite song from her album was R.E.M," one user replied referencing "Sweetener," to which another person added, "its the only reason i bought it."
Other TikTokers remarked that Mac, who died of an accidental overdose at the age of 26 in September 2018, produced a soundtrack titled "REMember" from his Watching Movies with the "Sound Off" album in 2013.
Back in August 2018, before the death of the rapper, Ariana released "R.E.M." for Sweetener.
Although the beauty entrepreneur has not remarked publicly on whether or not her lip oil is an ode to Mac, she has previously paid tribute to him. Her most recent two albums, "Thank U, Next" and "Positions," contain numerous references to their relationship, which ended in early 2018 when he passed.
The "Just Like Magic" singer told Vogue in 2019 that her ex-death boyfriend's was "all-consuming."
"I'm a person who's been through a lot and doesn't know what to say about any of it to myself, let alone the world," she said. "I see myself onstage as this perfectly polished, great-at-my-job entertainer, and then in situations like this, I'm just this little basket-case puddle of figuring it out... I have to be the luckiest girl in the world, and the unluckiest, for sure."
She added that she's struggling to heal herself - balancing negative thoughts with deep appreciation for what she achieved in her life at the time.
