Bad news for Kim Petras fans! It appears that an upcoming album won't hit record stores and music streaming platforms anytime soon as the singer revealed devastating news on social media.

The 29-year-old singer posted, then deleted, a series of tweets where she opened up about her long-awaited record.

Although the pop star did not reveal the title of the new album, many fans alleged that it's called "Problématique."

She also claimed that her record label, Amigo Records, is stalling the album so she told fans that it was okay to listen to the leaked copies of her new project.

Two of the songs have been reportedly circulating online "Je T'adore" and "All She Wants" featuring Paris Hilton.

"I'm not getting to put out any music anyways I'm f*****," she wrote. (via People Magazine)

The "Malibu" songstress' record label is an imprint of Republic Records owned by Dr. Luke, a controversial music producer who faced a lawsuit from Kesha.

"I'm devastated idk how all of this happened and I just wanna quit," she added.

One fan replied to her thread regarding the new project to which the singer responded that the album was still alive but her record label handles everything.

She revealed that no tracks were scrapped, she just never got the approval to release anything, comparing it to "limbo."

"I hope you enjoy the songs truly. I made them for you guys so I hope you like them," she added.

According to Billboard, Petras seemingly confirmed that her upcoming album won't be released anymore after she liked a fan-made photo of a gravestone with the text "R.I.P PROBLéMATIQUE."

She also replied to the post with a rose emoji.

Last year, fans were thrilled after the musician seemingly hinted that a new album is coming out soon after releasing "Future Starts Now."

She then released two other singles titled "Coconuts" and "Hit It from the Back."

During the 2021 MTV EMAs red carpet, Petras told the outlet that she's excited for the project as it is her first official debut album under a label after working as an independent artist for a long time.

"I feel very passionate about this album, it's everything I've ever wanted to make - it's extreme pop music, which I love," she teased.

As of this writing, Petras' team and Amigo Records have not publicly addressed the matter.
