Jewel added that the bus driver saved her vintage guitar and amp from the burning bus. She also explained that the front desk of the hotel saw the fire, prompting the staff to call the singer's driver.

The footage she shared showed the damage the fire caused to the vehicle, affecting both its interior and exterior. A back window was also noticeably cracked.

Per Parade, officials determined that an electrical fire at the back of the bus caused the incident.

Jewel Went Through Ups and Downs

Jewel is set to appear in her next show at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. Before she began to earn more popularity, she opened up about her ups and downs in an interview with Stereogum.

It was known how she used to live in her car when she signed her first major label deal in the mid-1990s.

"I was living in my car because I wouldn't have sex with my boss. I refused to be leveraged and he wouldn't give me my paycheck and I couldn't pay my rent and I started living in my car and then my car got stolen and I was homeless because of that, because I wouldn't bang a boss," she said.

Although she opened up about it early in her career, Jewel claimed that people did not pay attention to hear it. Instead, the public maintained the thought that she "lived in her car to pursue her music career.'"

She also suffered sexist comments in the 1990s. At that time, radio interviewers made fun of her appearance.

"I would go, 'You know what? I can fix my teeth, but you'll never fix being stupid.' And I'd get kicked out of the radio station ... I got escorted out of so many radio stations because I wouldn't take s---," she went on.
