Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE) music executive Punch has recently revealed that SZA's new album is almost out of the woods and ready to drop.
Last month, SZA has alluded that TDE and Punch were the reason for the pushback of her highly-awaited sequel to the GRAMMY-nominated album "Ctrl."
SZA's public rant has launched an outcry against the music label, with fans
blaming the label's incompetence as the reason why Kendrick Lamar, one of the main artists of the label, decided to part ways with them.
SZA New Album Coming Very Soon? Punch Claims
In an interview with Vulture, Terrence "Punch" Henderson finally gave SZA's fans a timeline, although vague, on when the album is coming out.
"It's not really a secret. SZA's coming very, very soon. We pretty much have the album done...We know exactly when it's coming out. But on the internet, you only get a certain amount of characters. You don't have time to really go into a full explanation of what's going on like that when you're in the moment and tweeting something," Punch announced.
Based on his recent statement, SZA's new album would definitely come out this year, and not the next.
It could be also said that the misunderstanding between him and the "Kiss Me More" hitmaker is resolved to an extent, noting that they both know SZA's new album release date.

SZA, Punch Feuding On Social Media Over New Album Pushback
Last July 21, SZA responded to a fan asking her about when the supposed to be "SZA summer" album will drop.
"It's 100% punch and rca on this one. I wanted the summer. They wanted more time. Atp I'm just tryna have a good time stress free lol," SZA clap backed.
SZA's comments went viral on Twitter to which TDE's music exec Punch caught a whiff.
In a now-deleted Tweet, Punch has quoted Pop Base's tweet about SZA's public rant, stressing how he is "tired of this."
The tweet was then swarmed by angry SZA fans, blaming him for the reason why the album remains unreleased amid huge anticipation.
Some have even gone to the extent of suggesting that it was the music label's mismanagement that led Kendrick Lamar to leave them.
SZA has been publicly expressing her disdain over TDE's Punch even having issues with the release of her 2016 album, "Ctrl."
