Mariah Carey should really exercise greater caution while uploading vacation images. They can serve as signposts for ill-minded individuals to know when to try and rob her other properties. Her mansion in Atlanta was reportedly bulgarized while she's having some downtime with her boyfriend and kids in Italy.
Page Six has discovered exclusively that Carey's Atlanta house was burglarized in July, when she was on vacation in Capri, Italy. While staying in her $20 million mansion in the Hamptons, her Atlanta property is already being entered without permission.
The police have confirmed the burglary, but caution that information may be restricted because "this is currently an active investigation." The details therefore are not clear, especially when it comes to what was taken.
Representatives of Carey did not reply to requests for comment on the said crime.
In November 2021, a trust using the same name as several other Carey properties and business interests purchased the $5.65 million mansion.
The nine-bedroom, thirteen-bathroom residence has a swimming pool, tennis court, and playground. It screams opulence and it remains to be seen what assets inside have attracted the robbers' attention.
While the bulgarly was taking place, the diva was in Italy with boyfriend Bryan Tanaka, her twins Monroe and Moroccan, and her mother. Photographs of the group frolicking on a yacht and in the water were widely disseminated on the Internet, possibly alerting robbers that the mansion would be vacant.
She also documented her vacation on Instagram. The "All I Want for Christmas" singer also utilized social media to promote Nestseekers, the real estate agency that helped her discover a Hamptons apartment. She posted on July 25: "Out East for a week, soaking it all in." The Eagles Point residence in Water Mill is listed for $20 million. For her two-week stay, Carey paid more than six figures.

But then, even without the actual posts, bulgars must be hot on Carey's trail ever since. Carey is renowned for her extravagant lifestyle. In 2017, the diva displayed her Tribeca closet to Vogue, displaying stacks of Louboutins, Birkin bags, and Marilyn Monroe memorabilia.
Mariah Carey, 53, and Bryan Tanaka, 39, met in the middle of the 2000s, and he accompanied her on her Adventures of Mimi tour in 2006. Prior to her relationship with her on-again, off-again partner, the performer was famously married to music entrepreneur Tommy Mottola, 72, from 1993 to 1998. In 2001, Mariah ended her brief relationship with the musician Luis Miguel.
